Lymphatic Drainage Therapy — Specialty
Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) uses light, slow, rhythmic strokes that gently stretch the skin to stimulate the superficial lymphatic vessels and move excess fluid toward healthy lymph nodes. Wendy starts by clearing the nodes at the neck and other key areas so the fluid has somewhere to go, then works toward the swollen area. It's helpful for post-operative swelling, edema, bruising, and fluid retention. This is what Wendy is best known for, and what keeps clients coming back.

Post-Surgical Massage
Sessions begin with manual lymphatic drainage around the surgical site to reduce post-operative swelling and bruising, rerouting fluid around the incision toward healthy lymph nodes. Once the incision has fully closed and your surgeon has cleared you, scar tissue mobilization helps the new tissue form in a more flexible, organized way and keeps it from adhering to the layers beneath, for a softer, more functional scar. The rest of the session addresses the muscle tension and compensation patterns that build up while you're guarding the area or moving differently during recovery.
